Project Overview

Planning, measuring, and carrying out fire door amendments out of hours within a busy office environment to ensure full compliance with fire safety regulations.

Challenge

The office required accurate fire door assessments and adjustments to maintain proper fire safety and regulatory compliance. As the workspace remained active throughout the day, the works needed to be carefully planned to avoid interrupting staff, meetings, and general office activity.

Our Solution

Our engineers attended site outside of working hours to inspect and measure the fire doors across the office. Where required, we carried out amendments to improve door alignment, fit, and overall performance, ensuring the doors function correctly as part of the building’s fire protection system.

Results

The fire doors now perform as intended, supporting safe compartmentation and helping the building meet fire safety standards. By completing the works out of hours, we delivered the improvements efficiently while allowing the office to continue operating without disruption.
