Project Overview

Supporting a local Redditch primary school through our community give-back initiative, where our team provided facilities maintenance works free of charge. Using our FM expertise, we carried out essential repairs and safety improvements to help create a safer environment for pupils and staff.

Challenge

The school had several maintenance issues that required attention, including trip hazards around the grounds, a minor roof leak, and blocked gutters. Like many schools, maintenance budgets can be limited, meaning smaller issues can remain unresolved and potentially develop into larger problems affecting safety and the building fabric.

Our Solution

Our team volunteered their time and expertise to remove trip hazards, repair the roof leak, and clear the gutters to restore proper drainage. We approached the work with the same professional standards we apply to all facilities management projects, ensuring the school environment was safer, weather-resistant, and properly maintained.

Results

The school now benefits from safer walkways, improved roof protection, and free-flowing gutters that reduce the risk of water damage. Most importantly, the work helped create a safer space for children and staff while demonstrating our commitment to using our facilities management expertise to support the local Redditch community.
